Well, our reviewers wanted to find out for sure. So we did a little research, and came up with this review.
ProLong Active Ingredients
ProLong is yet another contender in the male enhancement market which claims to have a proprietary blend of the following ingredients:
- Tongkat Ali
- Maca
- Ginko Biloba
- L-Arginine
They also sell male enhancement oral strips (under the name Prolongz), which contain:
- Damiana Extract
- Ginseng Extract
- Fenugreek Seed Extract
Many of these ingredients are not only popular additions for many different male enhancement products available for purchase right now, some of them even have enough scientific evidence to suggest effectiveness. But whether they are included in high enough amounts in the ProLong formula is yet to be seen.
How Much Will ProLong Cost?
Luckily, even though most of ProLong's advertising is targeted towards informing you about their "Free Trial", their terms and conditions aren't too hard to find if you scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page and click the link.
When you read the fine print, you discover that the 14-day "free trial" actually includes a $5.99 shipping fee. Furthermore, if you fail to terminate your free trial within 14 days, you will be automatically enrolled in an auto-ship program. And here's the important part: the auto-ship program will charge your credit card $129.99 plus a $9.99 shipping fee every 30 days.
One of the ProLong websites claimed that both their male enhancement pills and oral strips are also available at GNC. A search of the site, however, only showed the strips for sale for $45.99 ($39.99 for GNC members) for a one-month supply.
Our "WTF" Moment with ProLong
"Male enhancement strips"! Seriously?
Oddly enough, there is more information about their oral male enhancement strips than their actual (and much more expensive) pills. This may be due in part because they sell them out of the popular retailer GNC. And in order to maintain legitimacy, stores like GNC have to be as transparent as possible with their product information.
We have to admit, though, that we were intrigued at the idea of a dissolvable oral strip for male enhancement. It's certainly more convenient than having to swallow a bunch of pills. But we were disappointed to learn from one customer review that despite our (reasonable) assumption that these strips are meant for instantaneous male enhancement, you have to be very strict with the dosing regimen in order to see any worthwhile results.
Will ProLong Make Good on All Their Male Enhancement Claims?
Well, on the positive side, the ProLong products have some decent male enhancement ingredients included in their formula. So, assuming that they include them in high enough quantities to be effective, there is some small glimmer of hope for this product.
But the keyword there is "assuming", because we don't know for sure. We also couldn't find any legitimate-looking reviews for these pills online. And at nearly $140 per month, that's an expensive risk to take when you don't have enough information to know for sure if the product is reliable or not.
